About FundFerret
We're on a mission to help UK startups find the right investors. No more endless searching, no more cold outreach to the wrong people.
The Problem We're Solving
Raising funding as a UK startup is hard enough without having to spend weeks researching which investors might actually be a good fit. We've been there, scrolling through outdated lists, LinkedIn stalking, asking for warm intros that go nowhere.
FundFerret was built to solve this. We're creating the most comprehensive, searchable database of UK investors, from major VC firms to active angels, syndicates to government grants. All in one place, with the details you actually need to know.
Who's Behind This
FundFerret is built by Jim Moodie, a startup advisor and angel investor who got tired of watching founders waste weeks researching the wrong investors. Having worked with early-stage companies across the UK, the same problem kept coming up: founders had great businesses but no easy way to find investors who matched their stage, sector, and geography.
FundFerret is the tool he wished existed. If you're a founder looking for support beyond the database, or have ideas for how we can make this better, get in touch.
